We have a jam packed and exciting agenda including NFB philosophy, trivia, door prizes, and snacks! What else could a person ask for? We will collect annual chapter dues after the meeting. Sheila and Tyler will collect dues, registration for convention, and the money for the t-shirts that you already ordered with Sheila. We look forward to seeing you Saturday! Here is the agenda:
Douglas C. Hall Stepathon
Join members of the Memphis Federation of the Blind as we step in the name of love during our inaugural Douglas C. Hall Stepathon. Step for blind individuals who can live the lives they want, step in the memory of someone you’ve lost due to diabetes, cancer, or other illnesses, but most importantly step for yourself.
US House of Representatives Passes Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: US House of Representatives Passes Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act Treaty Now Awaits Presidential Action Washington, DC (September 25, 2018): The United States House of Representatives has passed the Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act (S. 2559), which makes modest changes to copyright law that will bring the United States into compliance with the terms of the Marrakesh Treaty.
