Dear Fellow Federationists: First, let me say I hope you are healthy and safe and following all of the social distancing guidelines. I am saddened to say that across the country the Federation family has lost a few members to the deadly coronavirus. Others are gravely ill as are family members.
NFBTN Presidential Update March 23, 2020
Dear Fellow Federationist:
These are truly difficult times for our nation and for the blindness community. We have never known a pandemic like the one we now face. Our thoughts and prayers are for your health and safety and that of you loved ones. At this time when we face many challenges it is important that we stick together.
State Convention Postponed
Unfortunately, it has become necessary to postpone our NFBTN State Convention which was scheduled for April 3-5 in Clarksville. We are doing our part to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The threat of the virus is not something that we take lightly and the health and safety of our members is our top priority. This decision was made in consultation with and supported by our National Office.
